This holiday season, downtown Portland is gearing up for a winter extravaganza with the arrival of the Woodsy Winter Village and a whimsical pop-up ice skating rink. You will find the magic tucked into a giant tent near the west end of the Morrison Bridge on Southwest Naito Parkway. With room for 120 skaters at a time, the rink offers a stunning view of downtown Portland, blending outdoor excitement with a generous dose of holiday magic.
Right next door, the Woodsy Winter Village will offer a winter marketplace with twinkling lights and festive decor, surrounded by local vendors offering unique gifts, crafts, and delish seasonal treats.
The fully-tented ice skating rink and Woodsy Winter Village will be open from December 16 through January 28. Tickets won’t break the bank, priced at $20 per adult and $12 per child under 12, with skate rentals included. Talk about an accessible way to dive into the holiday magic while supporting the vibrant local businesses that make Portland unique! And here’s a little bonus – SmartPark garages are offering free parking on weekends, making it even easier to join in the fun.
