What an unforgettable celebration at the Multnomah Days Street Fair! We are honored to be a main sponsor of this beloved community event for the past several years. It truly takes a village to make it happen, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day to come together and celebrate everything that makes Multnomah Village so special. The sun was shining, the streets were packed, and the vibes were nothing short of amazing.
Multnomah Days is one of the oldest street fairs in Portland, and this year’s event was truly something special. From early morning until evening, the village was bustling with over 150 vendor booths, delicious food and drink, and plenty of fun activities for the whole family. The Kids Zone was a hit, with little ones getting creative with birdhouse building and other hands-on activities.
The Community Parade was definitely a highlight—so much energy, color, and community spirit! We loved walking in the parade with so many of the tweens that call this neighborhood home (perhaps with a small bribe of donuts) and seeing so many friendly faces line the streets. And our booth? It was hopping all day long! We had a great time connecting with awesome folks from around the area, and giving away $50 to 8 awesome local businesses – a perfect blend of showing love for the local community if you ask us!
Live music kept the good vibes rolling throughout the day, with tunes that had everyone tapping their feet and dancing in the streets. Even when the rain decided to make a dramatic appearance at the end of the day, it only added to the fun—because nothing can dampen the spirit of Multnomah Village.
A huge shoutout to all the incredible volunteers who helped make this day such a success. You all rock! And a special thank you to the Event Committee, who’ve been working hard since February to bring this event to life. We couldn’t have done it without you.
FunFact: During her time serving as President of the Multnomah Village Business Association, our founder and fellow small business owner, Erin Primrose has witnessed first-hand the challenges and joy that goes along with being a “main street dreamer”. This is what inspired the merger of her love for local biz and real estate through building the Local brand – the two are so very connected in each community.
We’re already looking forward to Multnomah Days 2025 and can’t wait to see you all there again! Until then, looking forward to keeping the spirit of community alive every day.
Winners of each $50 prize to JP General, ComeUnity PDX, Indigo Traders, Sarah J. Handmade, Thinker Toys, Magpie Metals, MadSass & Peachtree Gifts will be notified via email on Sunday 8/25.
